Betty celebrated her 85th birthday.

Marnie Gustavson, the head of PARSA in Afghanistan, presided over a
meeting at the University Heights Center in Seattle.

The washing machine for Luz y Vida Orphanage was presented by HALO through the efforts of Colleen Morey of
Greenwich, CT, who has raised all the funds for this project.

Mr. Quang Le briefly visited Betty at the HALO headquarter.

Betty went to Vietnam for the 27th time to help the orphans. She traveled to Bao Lam, Kon Tum, & Dakkia (Leper Village). Accompanying her on the trip was her daugter, Thu Van, a fifth-grade teacher at Oceanway school in Jacksonville, Florida. (Click
